Welcome to UT's Safe Zone

Safe Zone is a voluntary network of faculty, staff and students who believe that every member of the UT community should have an equal opportunity to grow and learn in safe and open environments. Participants display a Safe Zone symbol to demonstrate their nurturance and commitment to celebrating the invaluable contributions of LGBT individuals and communities.

A safe zone is a space in which anyone in the LGBT or questioning community will be supported and confirmed.

Participation in Safe Zone is voluntary and entirely free. If you would like to learn more about Safe Zone and/or create a Safe Zone on campus, register for one of our training sessions.
